A folding bike from Bike Friday

I've been wanting to bike to work for a while but was always put off by BART's policy of banning full-size bikes during heavy commuter hours. So I figured a folding bike would the perfect solution. Before taking the plunge, I did my homework. I talked to coworkers with folding bikes (a quick shot out to Ying Wei and Bruce Horn); did some research and comparison shopping online; and visited a couple of bike stores. In the end, I opted for the Tikit model, made by Bike Friday. It's not the cheapest folding bike, but it's definitely one of the best. The demo video showing a rider fold it up in 5 seconds flat (and unfold it in the same amount of time) went a long way towards selling me on it. Now I'm just waiting for it to show up...
